Forgive me for the extended silence, but we're coming off of an Easter weekend with family in town, a small stomach bug over Easter that thankfully only got the hubs and I (is it just me or did it seem like everyone got the Flu over Easter?) and now we're into our spring break with grandparents coming to visit tomorrow! It's nice to have a really chill spring break where I get to sleep-in (no guilt!) and overall have very few plans.
I did get some yard work done yesterday with the girls and it felt so good to get my hands dirty and to feel the sun on my back. I hadn't actually planned on doing any yard work, but we've had a pile of mulch in our driveway for a couple of weeks now and instead of waiting to tackle it with B on the weekend as we planned, I just TCB'd that mother. (TCB-ing = Taking care of business). There is no surer way for me to feel like a badass than to just TCB a little yard work. A shovel and a wheelbarrow hauling mulch and dirt back and forth while my girls look on and lend the occasional "helping hand?" Girl power!
Anyway please stay tuned as I'm going to have a fantastic Special Needs Spotlight tomorrow and I don't want you to miss it! I hope you're having a great week and I'll see you tomorrow.
