Update

So I did not have a C-section today.  And they sent us home.  Ugh.  I know I should be happy, but now that we've done so much scrambling and made arrangements for everything, it sorta feels like a big ol' pain to be presented this new little twist.  The good news of course is that the amniotic fluid levels have gone back up--which was a huge surprise and something the Dr. was not expecting.  And of course every day the little bun stays in the oven gives her that much more advantage.  So that's good.  I'm tired.  And now that I'm home I'm on bed rest....so it's still a bit crazy.

Anyway, thanks again for continued support, prayers, love, comments, etc.  I would love to respond to each and every person who has contacted us, but I'm afraid I can't at the moment.  But know we really, really appreciate it.

Love,
Migs

  1. I'm glad that all is well and her fluid level went back up. I've been thinking about you guys. Stinks that you had to go through all of that. Love ya

  2. So, does this mean that we can play with Beanie? My girls are super sweet with younger ones (as Danielle and Wendy can attest to) and we would really love to come and pick her up for the day. Any day. Having not had too much interaction with Beanie, if you do not think she would be that comfortable with this, I totally understand. Really. If you are at all interested though, just give me a call. I think you have my digits. :)

  3. I hear bed rest is no fun. Sorry you have to go through that.

I've been silently observing this situation for a while... I guess I just haven't known what to say. Just know we are thinking of you guys a lot.

Good luck and keep us updated!

  4. Obviously I wasn't fully aware of Lamp's due date--that if she came now she would be early. Now that I know this, I'm SO grateful you didn't deliver her today! What a relief that your levels are back where they should be.

I've heard bed rest is annoying, so I'll be praying for you even more :) Maybe that just means you can blog a little bit more...right?! ;)

  5. Bed rest stinks! I really liked doing crossword puzzles, and watching BBC mini-series:) This time around, my mom kept supplying me with new movies for Graham to watch with me, which made me feel like we were doing fun things together, even though we were vegging out:)
I am sending you, B, Bean, and Lamp "all of my love"!!!:)

  6. Yea!! You're home! Even though you have to be on bedrest, at least you don't have to be bugged every hour by the hospital staff! Peace and quiet...one of the things you wanted, right?

    Still prayin' for ya!

  7. Wow, thinking about you guys. I wish there was something I could do to help. Would you like me to send over the woman who cleans our house? She's wonderful!!
