Nursery Inspiration

We're in the process of moving the studio upstairs and making room for baby Lamp in the nursery.  This will be the first time I actually get to put a nursery together and I'm excited.  As mentioned I'm thinking of doing a purple and white nursery.  Why purple?  Well a few years ago I made this baby quilt {it's lavender and plum, but looks rather grey-ish in the picture}.  I thought about selling it, but I just couldn't let go of it.  Now I'm glad I didn't because I'm really excited about a purple nursery.  And it seems like good timing as I'm seeing purple baby stuff pop up all over the place....here are some items/inspiration I've found so far.

Lamb Mobile
Ribbed Tank One Piece
Ruffle Bubble One Piece
Bunny Mobile
Kokka Fabric
Sheepskin Rug
Eames Rocker

  2. We're moving next week and Josie gets a fresh coat of paint in her room. We're doing lavender too. There's this Sherwin William's color "Magical" that we're totally in love with. It had a little more blue in it and we needed something a little more pink, but I think it may match your quilt. And they have a low-VOC option in that color. Check it out.

BTW, I love the purple and I love bloomers. Just wish I had a little girl to put in them!

  5. I totally have that eames rocker, but the knock off version. It's great! It's cheaper and it looks just as good.

  6. Also, I do still live in Chicago, but don't worry about it at all. Please stop by the next time you're in town. It's a free place to stay and we have plenty of room for you guys. Plus, I think I was in Seattle at the same time, so I'd rather be in town to visit you.
