Halloween Music

Don't get me wrong I love the old stand by's like Thriller and Monster Mash, but I think our Halloween mixes could use a little freshening up don't you? Indie Rock Cafe has posted 13 Halloween playlists with a more indie twist, and you can listen to all the songs online for free. Some of the songs are less obvious Halloween songs like Creature Fear by Bon Iver, but other songs are spot on and quite enjoyable. Personal Fav's are Halloween Song by Evangelicals, Halloween by Matt Pond PA and Walking with a Ghost by Tegan and Sara. {I wish I would have posted this last week, but I just found it last night myself.}

Here's my current Halloween Mix if you need some more inspiration {the first song is from The Nightmare before Christmas}.

Have fun and
Happy Halloween!

Oh and if you need a good scary-but-not-too-scary Halloween Movie you can watch
The Lady in White in it's entirety here.
