Feeling Loved

The neighborhood kiddos eating watermelon
I don't remember the last time I {we} felt so loved.  On Sunday a group of parents in our neighborhood threw a going away bash for us and another family.  It was really great.  All of our little toddlers are friends and have grown from baby to toddlerhood together so it was a sweet and appropriate farewell.

Three Princesses

Then yesterday I received a frantic call from a friend asking if I could come watch her daughter asap because an emergency had just come up.  I rushed right over only to be surprised by a good-bye party that was organized by some dear friends from my ward.  I can't thank all you lovely ladies enough.  I almost cried.  When talking to a friend about the party later that day she commented That's like everyone's dream...to feel like people are going to miss you.

I couldn't agree more.  My little family feels so loved.  Dream come true.

  4. What a cool post! Its so hard to leave somewhere that you have loved---but you can make new friends now---and still have someone to visit!
