Domino Sale

Saturday I went with a couple of friends to the Domino sale!  {Domino magazine, which just closed it's doors was selling all their wares since they no longer have any use for the stuff}.  It was exciting just to go, but since we didn't get there right when the doors opened it was already pretty picked over.  But I did score this beautiful velvet grey/yellow fabric {$3!}.

On the way back to the car we walked through a flea market where I scored this cute lil' Beanie sized stool.  AND I can recover it in the yellow/grey fabric.  Perf.

Finally, there was a booth at the flea market that was manned by a bunch of school kids selling things they made to raise money.  Many of the items were Mother's Day oriented including the poem below.  I had to have it.  Well worth the $2 price tag.

A great almost-last-Saturday in the City...

{oh and the trapeze class was amazing!  I've been trying to upload the video for days...I'll keep trying...}
