Banner in a Box Part 2.

So remember the banner in a box from a couple weeks ago?  Remember how it's out of print and not available anywhere? Well some of you suggested making them myself.

Duh.  D-D-Duh.  So I did...and they turned out great!  Check it.

With the help of my husband {he's better with photoshop/illustrator than I am... that has to change} he helped me make the outer border.  I downloaded a free font {not quite as cute as the original} and then put them together.  We just printed them from our home computer.  Also, I had actually made a similar banner with a free download from Martha Stewart last year, but when I laminated it it just looked instantly tacky.  So I decided to just use really thick card stock for these letters so I wouldn't have to laminate.  Also, I made 45 letters in all so that we could easily interchange them for a variety of birthdays and holidays.

So I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in having their own set.  For $25 I'd print up to 45 letters of your choice {please note this won't include ribbon}.  To make it worth while I'd want to get at least 5-6 orders, so let me know if you're interested and I can post something in my etsy shop.  {To be clear, I know this is a blatant rip off of Wendy Addison's Parlour Magic Alphabet Box...just so you know it too and we're all cool with it}.

  1. I want one!! Put me down as an official order, and you wouldn't even have to ship it!!! Let me know when you get a couple more orders, and I will tell you my letters! You guys are so talented:)
    Please also tell B, that if he starts an etsy shop for his jewelry creations, I want one of those, too!!!
    Love to you!

  2. So cute! I would love one! Just let me know if you get enough orders!

  3. {hey guys...I'm guess what, even if you're the only 2 that want one, I'll still do it. shhhhh...don't say anything....}

  4. glad to hear it, even quietly:)

  5. Hi. Let's be blog friends. I won't say more. That would be weird, so I won't, but let's.

  6. Don't know about the alphabet box, but this is a wicked cool idea.

    Will you put them into an equally amazing box to match?

    Hmmmm---might want to do it....

  7. It would be so great to have something made by you (the banner) and something made by your hubby (the retainer he made for Danny) in our house! I loved the whisper!

  8. those are so wonderful!

  9. Shawn--sorry there would be no cool box...this is just sort of a one time thing...if I were going to sell these all the time, I would do some cool packaging.

    Emily--that's perfect...I didn't even think of that. Oh I'll make a listing for these in my etsy shop--then you and Hudgi can purchase them there and I can get your shipping info and everything.

    Maggie May--why thankya!
