Weekend Reading

Do yourself a favor and please check out this somewhat new and very exciting blog My Super Hopeless Romance where an anonymous writer, Cordy,  dishes about the fact that she is secretly {or not so secretly} in love with her best friend Seth.  This is a real life chick flick and it's playing out in the blogosphere!  Lets just say it brings some memories back for me...didn't we all have a good friend we secretly pined for?

Just make sure you read her intro on the left sidebar first and be sure to start from the beginning...it's not that long.  Enjoy and have a good weekend!

  8. I've been reading it for a while, too. It's pretty addictive, and well written enough that I sometimes wonder how true it all is. Of course, it's also so painful, I think it maybe HAS to be true. :)

  10. Molly--I know! I saw that...good for her.

Melancholy--yes I'm definitely having my doubts as to whether this thing is real or not...she never talks about the fact that "what if he discovered the blog" or even when she plans to tell him...if it were my situation, I would think that would come into play...but I still love it!

  12. I saw this posting but didn't start reading the blog until I saw Andrea at church and she said, "Hey, if you get bored there is this great blog you should check out!" As soon as I got home I started reading and I'm addicted now. I too have my doubts about it's truthfulness--great writing though!

  13. I read the entire thing in one sitting. I want it to be true but am also a bit suspicious--she should really be a lot more paranoid about posting so many potentially mortifying details.
