The other day...

....I was just folding some clothes and tidying up when out of nowhere appeared the dreaded WHITE NINJA .... and her trusty sidekick, Shorty. As is custom, she was wearing her black belt--the sign of a true Ninja. Oh no, I thought...I'm doomed.

I asked them what they wanted from me, a humble house wife who was ever so meekly folding the laundry, but my question was met with a swift kick and a HIII--YA!

Then the stealthy WHITE NINJA leapt into the air displaying her supreme mastery of the martial arts, starting off with a stellar left kick...

...and somehow ending in the splits--MID AIR. She was truly a sight to behold.

As luck would have it, she meant me no harm. Her primary concern was an offering of giggles and laughter (not the same). Her mission was accomplished. And without another word she gracefully flew away...

Oh WHITE NINJA, we love you so. Come back and visit us again.

  1. I don't think you are rad, I think BEAN is rad. She should meet my nephew.

  5. Katie--wait, wait, wait...how do you think Beanie got so rad? Her mom. Get your nephew over here and we'll set up a play "date."

Azucar--Yeah I think your ninja is scarier than mine...at least the 3 year old ninja. :)

    Tawni and Suzi--Thanks.

  9. I'm a blog stalker. I confess. But don't be afraid. I stumbled upon your blog this way: Keith Paugh (know him from L.A.), clicked on Danny Boy and Emilie (sp?), recognized Danny from college, clicked on your link and recognized your hubby from college (obviously, since he and Danny were roommates). I can't remember your cute hubby's name...but we were in the same ward my senior year at BYU. We lived in the same apt. complex (Grandview Village). Hopefully he'll recognize me so I don't look like a complete fool.
That being established...I LOVE YOUR BLOG! You are clever and witty and adorable and live in New York! (I lived there before my mission and am a performer...so to me it's the Holy Land).I found myself envying your life to the point of anxiety yesterday that I had to turn off my computer and walk away! Neat gal, neat family. Such a great writer!
Pull your hubby over to the computer and look at my blog to verify that I'm not a total stranger. And tell him hello from Molly (Bice).
    Can I keep peeking?

  10. Molly--

Hail yeah! Anyone who envies my life is more than welcome to peruse at leisure. Being envied just feels so cool...but if it makes you feel any better, my Christmas tree is still up, I mopped the kitchen floor today for the first time in who knows how long and it's colder than butt here.

I would remind you of my cute hubby's name, but we try to be as anonymous as possible so he'll just have to be "B" for now. He says 'hey' by the way... :)
