The Dress

Finally, by popular demand here are some pictures of the dress. I know, I know WHY wasn't I a model? I'm such a natural. But try to look past that and notice my stylin' new dress.

Anyway, I love the color and I love the fit. It's nice to have a dress that I don't have to wear multiple layers with...no undershirts or cardigans needed. Also, I never mentioned it but I got a new haircut as well. And while my hair doesn't look super awesome in the above pictures I LOVE my haircut. Honestly this is the first hair cut that I've loved in years. Years. So if you live in my neck of the woods and need an awesome stylist I'd like to recommend my girl Reagan. Seriously if you're looking for someone, give me a holla and I'll hook you up with her digits.

Have a great weekend.

  1. You look hot! I can't tell the color - blue? I can see why it was so popular - for the reasons you said - no cardigan needed - down to the knee. It's not always just Mormon girls that want at least one modest but hip dress. Fashion seems to dictate we have to either look like we're asking for it, or look like we shop at Christopher & Banks, so these kind of dresses are rare, and get snatched up immediately. You'd think designers would catch on.

  3. Thanks Laides--

Yes the dress is a deep blue...it's hard to tell in these pictures.

And yes it is modest, but the sleeve openings went a little too low, so I actually sewed them up by hand so there were more Mormon Friendly...but it was a minor adjustment and very easy.
