I am Woman. Hear me Roar.

I just went out for some groceries, which included 2 gallons of milk, eggs, juice, etc. You know, some heavy stuff. When I got home I had a nice lil' treat waiting for me. The elevators were out. Both of them. Baby in stroller and heavy groceries in tow. . . what's a girl to do? Why carry them up of course. Luckily my friend Suz was home. She carried the groceries while I carried the baby. In her stroller. All the way up (wait for it) 15 flights of stairs. That's a lot of stairs. (To be completely fair, Suz and I switched for about 3 flights). I can't believe we made it. . . does anyone remember that book I Can Lick 30 Tigers Today? Yeah, that's me. . . after that I could easily lick 30 tigers today.

  1. You go lick those tigers, girl.

I think that we are incredible. P is especially incredible for riding along the whole way, while we carried. She is a smart one:)
    love, Suz

  3. GRRR! Blasted elevators! You are woman... I'm pretty sure I would've just sat down in the lobby and cried. I've gotten enough of a work out just pushing Noah's stroller around these snowy streets this week!

  4. I bow down to your New York womanhood. I think all NY mothers have some sort of story like that, but yours is the worst I've heard. Way to stay positive.
