Random Tidbits

Tidbit #1. We saw Jason Lee in line at a photo shop earlier this week. He smiled at the baby. Of course he did, everyone smiles at our baby.

Tidbit #2. Tonight is the season premiere of The Office. I was sorta a late comer to this show (I watched seasons 2 and 3 over the summer), but nevertheless this is a fine TV program and I've got ants in my pants about the whole Jim and Pam thing. I hope they're together. . . then again, great TV couples never seem to work out (Kevin and Winnie, Angela and Jordon Catelano, Ross and Rachel--yeah I know but I'm sure they broke up again) unless they were a couple already (the Huxtables, the Seavers, etc) . . . so we'll see.

Tidbit#3. My baby is cute. However, lately when we go down for our nap. . . instead of snuggling up to me for our 3 minute walk (I give her 3 minutes then bam she's in the crib) while she slowly drifts into la la land like she used to . . . she likes to remove the pacifier from her mouth then proceeds to hitting mommy (that's me) with said pacifier until I put her down in the crib. Interesting. Very interesting.

  1. 2. I can't wait to be a fly on the wall for their date.

    3. Maybe take the pacifier and put it in your mouth and then say "You like that? Huh? Look who's got the pacifier now, try hitting me again, see what happens."

Then again...Once upon a time there was a two year old girl who was having a temper tantrum in her crib. Her mommy had read you should give your baby a light slap to help them snap out of it, so she administered a light slap. The girl stopped crying, stood up in her crib, and slapped her mom back.

I'm not preaching here, I'm just saying, babies are dangerous, watch your back.

  2. Wow,scary cute babies. I wonder if they'll all stage an uprising. Have you ever read Lord of the Flies?? Whatever you do, don't buy a conch. Bad things happen when you have a conch. Also, of course Jason Lee smiled. She's basically one of the cutest babies on the planet.

  3. Broek--Girl with the curl indeed! That's pretty hard core at age 2. . . lets just say I'm glad we never threw punches. And the Office! YAY!!!!! Jim and Pam!

Andrea--seriously, that's for the conch warning. I totally almost bought one the other day. . . you know for that one spot in our house where I was like "what this spot needs is a conch." Now I know better.
