Aaa-choo!

  1. she is so cute. I especially love the second shot. And congratulations on your trip to the midwife's. I went to my 6 week without my husband and they talked to me like I have a dysfunctional marriage - it's nice to know I am not the only one with a busy husband.

  3. Love the shots. So cute. I love the eyebrow look. When I went to the first Dr. appt. my mom went with me cause Nate was in school and I was crying nonstop (that dang postpardum) and the nurse (a big black lady who was the best mamma in the world) grabbed me, squeezed the life out of me and said "I know it must be hard baby...raising this new child without the father. You will be OK. Cry. Let it all out. At least your mom is here for you!" I had to explain to her that the father was still in our lives, we are happily married and that he was just at school, and I was crying because of the hormones. My mom and I still laugh at that moment. Im glad she only made one peep. Those are the best days so enjoy them! In a blink of an eye she will be running in the subway car sliding up and down the poles in the middle and asking you in a loud voice about why the stinky man in dirty clothes is sleeping on the seat across from her!

I can't believe how big she is. (Not like BIG but you know, her features are more distinct). Her expressions are cuteoverload.

  5. Thanks all. It's funny to think how big she looks in these pics--like you said Broek, more distinctive. I also love her little pouty lip picture, too bad it's so dark.

Tawny--that is HI-larious! I love it! (Of course sad at the same time if that's a common pep talk she has to give new moms).

  8. I can't help but spy on your blog all the time, and see how things are going with the little one. I SO understand what you wrote about going to the Dr's. A 3 hour excursion by yourself, terrified that your baby will cry and not stop. I had a few of those subway rides to the Dr. alone. I do have to admit that it is easier in a car now. But not quite as interesting. She is adorable.
