Money Saver/Foodie Tip

These are clementines. They're an orange-like citrus fruit commonly found around Christmas time and they're very good . . . however, they also tend to be a little pricy.

These are tangerines. They are also very good, in my opinion every bit as good as the aforementioned clementine . . . and guess what? They cost much less than clementines! Like about half as much I find.

Clementines are generally a little sweeter and they don't have seeds--unlike tangerines . . . but seriously kids, I've gotten 2 bags of tangerines so far and not a bad one in the bunch. In my opinion they're every bit as good as the clementine (I don't think they're tart) and spitting out the seeds a'int no thang if I'm saving 3 or 4 bucks. So if you're hankering for fresh clementines, save yourself a couple bucks this holiday season and get some tangerines instead.
