She's crafty. . .

and so is he. B and I both worked on a project this week. B has been complaining for months about our lack of a clock in the living room, and I told him I'd get one when I found the right one. He got tired of waiting and decided to take matters into his own hands. He had the idea a while ago, but just hadn't found the right book . . . until last week. Voila! B's hand made clock. Both functional and fashionable. I love it.

My little craft project comes courtesy of Martha. If you too want to make some cute lil' baby booties for yourself or an expectant friend check out the link here. Mine don't have quite the polished look of Martha's, but I think they still look pretty good.

A'ight. . . that's all for now. Hugs.

  1. I cannot get over those shoes. I'm so excited to try and make some--you know, with all my free time.

  2. Yay! I'm glad you like them. . . just a tip, when blowing up the shoe pattern, try about 215%. The pattern will look huge, but they have a way of shrinking down. And you might want to use craft felt for the first go, before breaking out the wool stuff. And yeah you really need a hobby. . . too much Judge Judy for you.
