When music is cheap

I know I keep harping on our cheap music link. . . but seriously I can't get enough. Sure there are some songs I can't find on there but for the most part they've got it all, and you can afford to get it all. So the other night Brack and I was chillin' and we caught an old movie on TV--9 to 5. Classic! Dolly Parton, Lilly Tomlin and Jane Fonda . . . if you like hijinks, this movie is filled with them. Anyway, afterwards I had the biggest hankering for that Dolly Parton classic of the same name--that's right, 9 to 5. So I went and downloaded it and have been singing it for days. "Tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen, pour myself a cup of ambition. . . " So I thought I would make a quick list of songs I've purchased that I would have otherwise lived without if I had to pay $0.99.

9 to 5--Dolly Parton
Islands in the Stream--Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers
Whatta Man--Salt 'n' Pepa (feat. En Vogue)
Bruce Springsteen Greatest Hits (ya--all of them)
I'm your Captain--Grand Funk Railroad
Walking After Midnight--Patsy Cline
Goodbye Strange--Supertramp

And I plan to get me some John Cougar Melloncamp as soon as he's added to the library. Sure I got some Prince and Yeah, yeah, yeahs as well, but with such cheap music you can actually afford to be uncool. Time to get that Dokken album you've always wanted . . .

  1. Did you get free music from posting the musicmp3 link? I haven't got anything yet, but I'm still hoping they'll notice me

  2. They have approved our link for 2 bucks a month. When it has been a month, I'll let you know if we got the free music credit. It's not much, but dude, that's like 2 free albums a month! go russia!
