Catching up

As B said I was out of town last week for bi'ness . . . (it's actually been a couple of weeks now, as I have to catch up on my trip to Utah and Thanksgiving). Anywho--back to Utah . . . I was there for work, but it also turned it into a weekend of visiting with friends and family. Good times. Of course one of the highlights was seeing my new nephew LT, and it was worth it. He's a cutie and I only wish I was there to watch him grow up like I was for the first 2 1/2 years of W's life . . . which brings me to another highlight . . . W and I had some quality Auntie/Niece time together. We colored, went to grama Dana and grampa Jim's house, visited Amanda, Jared and Conner . . . we had some major GT's. I should have been taking more pictures the whole weekend, but the only ones I thought to get were on the last night when I was packing to go and W was definitely in a picture taking mood . . . so here are some of the best pics (I didn't get any pics of LT):

W climbing on stuff.

Yeah I don't do well in close ups, but W looked so cute here, I couldn't not post this pic.

It's hard to tell, but she's trying on my hat and shoes. Is it just me or does she seem a lot older than almost 3?

W was sad to see me go this time--I think she realized we live a little farther away than she initially thought when we said good bye 3 months ago. . . her good bye to us last time was pretty weak . . . some might say she didn't really care. So it was cute to see her actually miss me this time. It was a super good weekend but I missed my hubby. . . and I guess he missed me too. This is my most favorite welcome home present ever. So cute. (And you all should know B baked that cake himself from scratch.)

OK--I'm going to write up our Thanksgiving Weekend soon . . . like a day or two, not a week or two. As a little preview, you can look forward to pictures of the ever-photogenic Caroline and our new NYC friends Kelly and Cardon. Peace.

I don't feel like signing up an account right now, but this is Chelsea. Bracken, that cake is the cutest thing in the world, and us girls here at the Enhance office are hoping we'll find a man as creative and sappy as yourself. Way to go!
